Description

అజాన్ అనేది ఇస్లాంలో ప్రార్థన కోసం పిలుపు. దీనిని “ముఅజ్జిన్” అనే వ్యక్తి పిలుస్తాడు, అతను మసీదులోని స్తంభం మీద నుండి లేదా భవనం పక్కన నుండి బిగ్గరగా అందరికీ వినిపించేలా అరుస్తాడు. అజాన్ అంటే అరబ్బీలో “పిలవడం” లేదా “ప్రకటన” అని అర్థం.  

Azan is the Islamic call to prayer, recited by a muezzin, to summon Muslims to the five daily prayers. It consists of a standardized Arabic text praising God and the Prophet Muhammad, and its purpose is to remind believers of their religious duties and the core tenets of Islam. The call is traditionally made from a mosque’s minaret and can be amplified with loudspeakers.
